What is SnapEnglish?

Do I need to sign in to use the app?
You can use the basic features without signing in. Sign in with Apple ID or Google only if you want to sync your progress across multiple devices.
Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends?
No. The app does not require a subscription during the trial. After 7 days, you only subscribe if you want to keep using premium features. You can cancel anytime from your store's settings (Subscriptions on Apple ID, or Subscriptions on Google Play).
What are the system requirements?
iPhone (iOS 18.0+), iPad (iPadOS 18.0+), and Android (8.0+).
Is it available for Android?
Yes. The Android version is available on Google Play.
How is my personal data handled?
We collect your account details (email address and user ID), learning data, and purchase history. In addition, only when you use the AI features, the English you type or speak and your pronunciation-practice audio are sent to AI services — we ask for your consent the first time, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings. When you use voice input, your audio may also be sent to a speech recognition service for transcription. We do no advertising tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do voice features work offline?
Please have an internet connection for voice input when answering. On iOS it uses Apple's speech recognition service, which requires a connection. On Android it uses the speech recognition service built into your device, so it may work offline depending on the device and its settings. AI feedback and pronunciation analysis always require a connection.
