What is SnapEnglish?
SnapEnglish is an English learning app developed and published by SnapTechEdge. It covers AI conversation, instant Japanese-to-English composition, grammar and vocabulary in a single app. You study by typing, speaking and arranging words. See About SnapEnglish for more.
Do I need to sign in to use the app?
You can use the basic features without signing in. Sign in with your Apple ID or Google account only if you want to sync your progress across multiple devices.
Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends?
No. Nothing is charged during the 7-day trial. After the trial, you choose whether to subscribe, and only if you want to keep using the premium features. Once subscribed, you can cancel at any time from your store settings — Subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings, or Subscriptions in Google Play.
Can I keep using the app for free after the trial?
No. A subscription is required to keep using the app after the trial. When the trial ends you will see the plans and a “Restore purchases” screen. If you already subscribed — for example after changing devices — restore it from that screen.
What are the system requirements?
iPhone (iOS 18.0 or later), iPad (iPadOS 18.0 or later) and Android (8.0 or later).
Is it available for Android?
Yes. The Android version is available on Google Play.
Do voice features work offline?
Please have an internet connection for voice input when answering. On iOS it uses Apple’s speech recognition service, which requires a connection. On Android it uses the speech recognition built into your device, so it may work offline depending on the device and its settings. AI feedback and pronunciation analysis always require an internet connection.
Can I connect it to Studyplus?
SnapEnglish is registered as a Studyplus partner app. Once connected, the time you study in SnapEnglish is recorded on your Studyplus timeline — usually as a single daily entry, posted automatically from the next day.

How to connect
1. Install the Studyplus app on your device and sign in
2. In SnapEnglish, open 設定 (Settings) and tap Studyplus 連携 (Studyplus integration)
3. Tap Studyplus と連携する (Connect to Studyplus) and approve it on the screen that appears

To stop, tap 連携を解除 (Disconnect) on the same screen.

Studyplus is a study-logging service for learners in Japan, and its app is in Japanese.
How is my personal data handled?
We collect your account details (email address and user ID), your learning data and your purchase history. In addition, only when you use the AI features, the English you type or speak and your pronunciation-practice audio are sent to AI services (we ask for your consent the first time, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings). When you use voice input, your audio may also be sent to a speech recognition service for transcription. We do not do any advertising tracking. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
